LOHP assisted the State Building and Construction Trades Council of California (SBCTC) in developing materials and training programs that teach construction workers about the combined hazards of tobacco and other toxic substances on the job. The BUILT Project (Building Trades Unions Ignite Less Tobacco), funded by California's Tobacco Tax Initiative, sponsored training programs throughout the state.
