Committees on Occupational Safety and Health (COSH)

COSH groups are local volunteer organizations of trade unionists and community activists throughout the U.S. and Canada. Most have regular meetings, and many offer training and information. The National Council for Occupational Safety and Health has more information and a list of groups.The New York Committee on Occupational Safety and Health (NYCOSH) also has a list of COSH and similar groups in the U.S., as well as other useful safety links.

A San Francisco-based coalition dedicated to promoting occupational safety and health through worker training, advocacy, technical and legal assistance. Includes labor and community groups, individual workers, professionals, environmentalists, and other interested people. One project is the WorkSafe Law Center, which focuses on assistance to California's most vulnerable workers.
