LOHP
Celebrates
30th Anniversary In
celebration of its 30 years of public service, the campus’s
Labor Occupational Health Program (LOHP) held an anniversary
event at UC's Lawrence Hall of Science in early October. LOHP, a
labor and community outreach program at UC's School of
Public Health, has worked since 1974 to reduce
occupational injury, illness, and death by providing training,
technical assistance, publications, and a library of health-
and safety-related resources. At
the celebration, LOHP staff were joined by over 150 well-wishers
hailing from community organizations, labor unions, campus
units, and state agencies.
 Cynthia
Dunn and other LOHP staff prepared a display
for the celebration, illustrating highlights of our
recent activities. Click

Robin Baker, right, has been LOHP’s
director for 24 years. With her at the celebration are
colleagues Zoe Cardoza Clayson, an SF State professor (left),
and Carol Vendrillo of the campus’s
Institute of Industrial Relations.
